The Effect of Mirrors in Our House

Mirrors have become a very important ingredient in home and office designing. Cheaper than most decorative materials, they serve as a good friend to the house owner as they are attractive, but yet do not make you a bankrupt. Many people prefer to install some mirrors instead of cluttering the house with other artifacts.

Mirrors add to the overall charm of your home. They bring about warmth in the household that no other articles can emulate. Differently shaped mirrors with beautiful frames have become the norm today. Some mirrors even come with embedded lights of different kinds that add to the drama unfolding before your eyes.

Many people have found out to their delight that redesigning the layout of their home interiors with mirrors is not an expensive or time consuming effort. Here you can cut down the expenditure on an interior designer too.

Mirrors are mostly found in our bathrooms. But large shaped mirrors placed laterally or opposite to each other acts as a ploy to give an illusion of more open space to the visitor and the inmates alike. Strategically placed mirrors help you get a view of some impossible corners of your home without peeking or kneeling.

Mirrors improve the overall lighting of your home. When placed opposite a light source, they would diffuse the light to other parts or the room softly. Smallish mirrors shaped like triangles or circles, when placed side by side in a row on the wall creates a wonderful ambience. Dark colored rooms can get a soft feel with the addition or a mirror or two.
